One Third Of The Calendar Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB AACC DDEE AACAFAC

In January everything freezesA
We have two children Both are she'sesA
This is our January ruleB
One girl in bed and one in schoolB
-
In February the blizzard whirlsA
We own a pair of little girlsA
Blessings upon of each the headC
The one in school and the one in bedC
-
March is the month of cringe and blusterD
Each of our children has a sisterD
They cling together like Hansel and GretelE
With their noses glued to the benzoin kettleE
-
April is made of impetuous watersA
And doctors looking down throats of daughtersA
If we had a son too and a thoroughbredC
We'd have a horseA
And a boyF
And two girlsA
In bedC
