Man oh manA
You thought you were in chargeB
Of the slaughterhousesC
But the livestock have taken overD
-
Our four legged friendsE
Have gained controlF
And things are lookingG
A little different around hereH
-
Gone are the daysI
Of indiscriminate killingG
And animal abuseJ
-
The livestock have implemented strict measuresK
To ensure the most humaneL
And painless methods of slaughterD
-
Are we not ashamedM
That it took animals to interveneN
To finally ensureO
Their deaths are not as obsceneN
-
They've even hired veterinariansP
To oversee the entire processQ
Because let's face itR
Humans just can't be trustedS
With something as important as thisT
-
Should we still call ourselvesU
The more intelligent speciesV
When it takes animal interventionW
To institute processes with moral reasonsP
-
But fear not dear humansP
The livestock haven't forgotten about youX
-
They are determinedY
To make sure that your meat consumptionW
Is still met with the highest level of satisfactionW
-
They've started breeding programsZ
To ensure the juiciest and tastiest cuts of meatA2
-
And have even started experimentingG
With new flavor profilesB2
To keep things interestingG
-
And the best partC2
-
They've made sure to prioritizeD2
Sustainability and ethical practicesE2
-
Ensuring that our environmentF2
Isn't being destroyed in the processQ
-
So there you have it folksG2
-
The livestock have taken overD
And are doing a better jobH2
At managing the slaughterhousesC
Than we ever couldI2
-
Maybe it's time for usJ2
To take a step backK2
And leave things to the expertsL2
-
After allM2
They do have a stake in the gameN2
