a hunger to return It couldn't last ResinF

flowed glacially from wounds in the barkG
pinned us in our enteringC
as the orchids opened wider FirstH

liquid so we swam until we couldn'tE
Then it felt like sleep the taste of nectarA

still inside us Sometimes a flowerA
-
became submerged with us A million yearsI
went by A hundred Swarm of hoverfliesJ
cockroach assassin bug allK
-
trapped suspendedL
-
in that moment of fullnessM
a Pompeii the motherA
-
covering her child's head foreverA
