Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFGG HHIJ KLMNNN OOPQ RSTUUDVVW X

A lot of people my age think we re doomedA
Looking around with little to call theirsB
Nothing to own as assetsC
Wandering and PanickingD
Time moving fastE
Thinking they wasted the pastE
If you ve ever visited New Orleans or KampalaF
You ll will know how it feelsG
Turning with nothing in heelsG
-
A lot of people my age think I m mixing the twoH
Doing poetry and law confuses them tooH
If Law connives poetry then there s no need to thinkI
It s glued with the voices of the weakJ
-
Like Robert frost in a not taken roadK
Long I stand along two diverged roadsL
It s a pity I couldn t travel bothM
To be that one traveler waving goodbyeN
Taking the road less traveled byN
But before that I will give the other a tryN
-
A lot of people my age think Mama s rightO
That she s an elder with a Godly sightO
She only has money for law booksP
Paying a deaf ear to my staccato lyricsQ
-
Like a maze runner trapped in a nestR
Being that one manS
Who flew but kept silentT
More than one dream for the youthU
Like a call on a telephone boothU
Standing PanickingD
To be taken by whoever inspires betterV
Keeping another road to be traveled laterV
But I doubt if I ll ever come backW

Poet's note: Many Youth get perturbed on which careers to take and those to leave. Most of them are trapped at the center with more than two careers to take on and the influence of their parents .
