Wild Geese Across The Moon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCAD EDDFFED

REEDS snake like coiled in the mistA
Where the low fog drivesB
The muddy cough of the stream that strivesB
To free its throat from the clot of reedC
As they fight it out the water and the weedC
While the fog above takes turn and twistA
Men these are your livesD
-
Wild Geese across the moonE
As some hand that unrollsD
And scratches black names upon blood red scrollsD
So seem these shadows dipping dyingF
Black shapes on the red moon screaming flyingF
Till the fog blots out or late or soonE
Men these are your soulsD
