Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEFE GGHI JKLL MMNN OPOP BQRQ S

I took a stroll in the graveyardA
And I marvel at the history lessons I learntB
It was just a stroll in the graveyardA
Quite an unusual intentC
-
That s the wealthiest place I ve set my feet uponD
Forget Dubai forget China or even the USAE
Potential presidents lawyers entrepreneurs and investors lay thereonF
It s quite heartbreaking so they sayE
-
I have a childhood friend lying thereG
I ll invent the cure for AIDS one day I swearG
What an ambition he hadH
But now there he lays deadI
-
The graveyard has swallowed people who would have made this world a beautiful placeJ
This has left us in distressK
We could have been far as human beingsL
But the graveyard has made us potential worthless beingsL
-
Some who lay there have achieved their goalsM
They have played their rolesM
What about you what role are you playing for this earthN
Don t you want to live a mark or footprint on this earthN
-
Some are called graveyard wasteO
They made life a living hell for manyP
Robbers murderers serial killers and rapists lie as wasteO
They couldn t leave a mark that could have been cherished by manyP
-
What are the history lessons you have learntB
Are you doing the right thing for this worldQ
Which is far much importantR
After all these lessons I vow to leave countless footprints on this worldQ
