The Sun's Salvation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD DEF EGHI JKCLM DFNOI CPQRQ DSTUV

Do you know what's it's like to walk throughA
the park in the midst of rain feeling painB
So low the grass envelops your head natureC
laughing at your position mocking your inferiorityD
-
Tears all in vain the rain washes away anyD
trace of sorrow not even acknowledging yourE
suffering stateF
-
Nature hidden beneath the Earth waiting forE
the Sun to rise so it can shine while you allG
alone bear witness as the bleak shroud of anguishH
envelops the shivering nightI
-
Oh my God where have the flowers gone IJ
cry out for no one to hear Only the bums onK
the park bench stir Their drunken slumberC
hides them from the hideous World with dreamsL
of what could have beenM
-
Sun O my sweet star of fire erase the stormyD
clouds with thy presence so bright ObliterateF
the shadows and leave only light Cast away theN
gray skies of unhappiness and bring the festiveO
colors back into sightI
-
Brother rain has left us weary and natureC
has withdrawn into herself being leery UnleashP
the rainbow and let her smile so sincereQ
remembering God's promise to the World lettingR
us know not to fearQ
-
And in the days of darkness all will not beD
lost for the Son of Man has paid the final costS
So fear not the World or the evil it does produceT
for the white light of tomorrow will unveil itsU
hidden truthV
