| Nature hidden beneath the Earth waiting for | E |
| the Sun to rise so it can shine while you all | G |
| alone bear witness as the bleak shroud of anguish | H |
| envelops the shivering night | I |

| Oh my God where have the flowers gone I | J |
| cry out for no one to hear Only the bums on | K |
| the park bench stir Their drunken slumber | C |
| hides them from the hideous World with dreams | L |
| of what could have been | M |

| Sun O my sweet star of fire erase the stormy | D |
| clouds with thy presence so bright Obliterate | F |
| the shadows and leave only light Cast away the | N |
| gray skies of unhappiness and bring the festive | O |
| colors back into sight | I |

| Brother rain has left us weary and nature | C |
| has withdrawn into herself being leery Unleash | P |

| remembering God's promise to the World letting | R |
