Shattered Dreams Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGE HIJK LMNO

prisoner of the world you created dostA
thou remember the shattered dreams of a brokenB
child's heart The freedom that you longedC
to have away from those comfortable arms ofD
securityE
-
What has gone wrong Why do you cry tearsF
in the night when the cold truth taps you onG
the shoulder and forces you to give in to realityE
-
The bars you have welded together and canH
never be pried open The key was forged to fitI
no lock and your life has been patterned to feelJ
nothing but painK
-
Even in the midst of multitudes you stand aloneL
Your suffering can be shared by no other for all theM
things you once lived for have Died and can neverN
be resurrectedO
