Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EBFDGH IJKLM NOD APD AQR STUVW

If she had her way there would beA
no rainy days The skies would alwaysB
be blue and all of this and so muchC
more she would lovingly hand to youD
-
Your face would never be dirty yourE
belly forever full She would alwaysB
keep her promises and help you achieveF
your dreams and if you couldn't doD
something yourself she would more thanG
likely be the meansH
-
She would always keep you by herI
side safe from any harm never letJ
you travel alone and unprotectedK
down the paths of this evil world lestL
you fall under some wrongdoer's charmM
-
She'd gladly take away your worriesN
and pains and thrust them upon herselfO
nothing is too good for youD
-
She would give you everything she possiblyA
could and sometimes things she couldn'tP
for baby there's nothing she wouldn't doD
-
Upon laying you down to sleep sheA
would whisper a special prayer to keepQ
you safe through the nightR
-
She would kiss you on the forehead andS
tell you how much you mean thenT
wink and smile before leaving untilU
the morrow as you slip into Love'sV
warm and peaceful dreamW
