The day was over.
All was finally quiet and at
peace with the world; as the Sun
burst into a thousand tranquil hues
of radiant streaks across the sky.
And the illuminated veil of dusk
swept across the fallen horizon;
ushering in a void of darkness...
...and a silence so sanctified, it
dare not be broken, till dawn graces
us with her presence once again.
