On Aging Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBAADDCEFECGAHIJKJ

When you see me sitting quietlyA
Like a sack left on the shelfB
Don t think I need your chatteringC
I m listening to myselfB
Hold Stop Don t pity meA
Hold Stop your sympathyA
Understanding if you got itD
Otherwise I ll do without itD
When my bones are stiff and achingC
And my feet won t climb the stairE
I will only ask one favorF
Don t bring me no rocking chairE
When you see me walking stumblingC
Don t study and get it wrongG
Cause tired don t mean lazyA
And every goodbye ain t goneH
I m the same person I was back thenI
A little less hair a little less chinJ
A lot less lungs and much less windK
But ain t I lucky I can still breathe inJ
