To Cloe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

Whilst I am scorch'd with hot desireA
In vain cold Friendship you returnB
Your drops of pity on my fireA
Alas but make it fiercer burnB
-
Ah would you have the flame suppress'dC
That kills the heart it heats too fastD
Take half my passion to your breastC
The rest in mine shall ever lastD
