To Chloe Weeping Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEEFFGHII

See whilst Thou weep'st fair Cloe seeA
The World in Sympathy with TheeA
The chearful Birds no longer singB
Each drops his Head and hangs his WingB
The Clouds have bent their Bosom lowerC
And shed their Sorrows in a Show'rD
The Brooks beyond their Limits flowE
And louder Murmurs speak their WoeE
The Nymphs and Swains adopt Thy CaresF
They heave Thy Sighs and weep Thy TearsF
Fantastic Nymph that Grief should moveG
Thy Heart obdurate against LoveH
Strange Tears whose Pow'r can soften AllI
But That dear Breast on which they fallI
