Stealing across the waters Zimmermann | H |
Thou draw'st not Solitude as others do | I |
With folded arms with pensive nun like air | J |
And tearful eye averted from mankind | K |
No warm benign and cheerful she appears | L |
The friend of Health of Piety and Peace | M |
The kind Samaritan that heals our woes | N |
The nurse of Science and of future fame | O |
The gentle harbinger her meek abode | P |
Is that dear home which still the virtuous heart | Q |
E'en in the witching maze of Pleasure's dance | R |
In wild Ambition's dream regards with love | S |
And hopes with fond security to pass | T |
The evening of a long protracted day | U |
