Vignettes 09: Sonnet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDBEEBBFBF

I am unskill'd in speech my tongue is slowA
The graceful courtesies of life to payB
To deck kind meanings up in trim arrayB
Keeping the mind's soft tone words such as flowA
From Complaisance when she alone inspiresC
And Caution with a care that never tiresD
Marshals each tribe of thoughts in such a wayB
That all are ready for their needful taskE
The moment the occasion comes to askE
All prompt to hear to answer and obeyB
When mine undisciplin'd their cause betrayB
By coward falterings or rebellious zealF
And Art though subtle though sublime thy swayB
I doubt if thou canst rule us when we feelF
