Untimely Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBC DEEDDE

Peace throbbing heart nor let us shed one tearA
O'er this late love's unseasonable glowB
Sweet as a violet blooming in the snowB
The posthumous offspring of the widowed yearC
That smells of March when all the world is sereC
And while around the hurtling sea winds blowB
Which twist the oak and lay the pine tree lowB
Stands childlike in the storm and has no fearC
-
Poor helpless blossom orphaned of the sunD
How could it thus brave winter's rude estateE
Oh love more helpless why bloom so lateE
Now that the flower time of the year is doneD
Since thy dear course must end when scarce begunD
Nipped by the cold touch of relentless fateE
