Soul's Call Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CCDD DE AFAF CCAA AA AGAG CCHH HH

When you wake from troubled slumbersA
With a dream bewildered brainB
And old leaves which no man numbersA
Chattering tap against the paneB
-
And the midnight wind is wailingC
Till your very life seems quailingC
As the long gusts shudder and sighD
Know you not that homeless cryD
-
Is my love's which cannot dieD
Wailing through EternityE
-
-
-
When beside the glowing embersA
Sitting in the twilight loneF
Drop on drop you hear November'sA
Melancholy monotoneF
-
As the heavy rain comes sweepingC
With a sound of weeping weepingC
Till your blood is chilled with fearsA
Know you not those falling tearsA
-
Flowing fast through years on yearsA
For my sobs within your earsA
-
-
-
When with dolorous moan the billowsA
Surge around where far and wideG
Leagues on leagues of sea worn hollowsA
Throb with thunders of the tideG
-
And the weary waves in breakingC
Fill you thrill you as with achingC
Memories of our love of yoreH
Where you pace the sounding shoreH
-
Hear you not through roll and roarH
Soul call soul for evermoreH
