Mystery Of Mysteries Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CDCDEF

BEFORE the abyss of the unanswering graveA
Each mortal stands at last aloof aloneB
With his beloved one turned as deaf as stoneB
However rebel love may storm and raveA
No will however strong avails to saveA
The wrecked identity knit to our ownB
We may not hoard one treasured look or toneB
Dissolved in foam on Death's dissolving waveA
-
Is this the End This handful of brown earthC
For all releasing elements to takeD
And free for ever from the bonds of birthC
Or will true life from Life's disguises breakD
Called to that vast confederacy of mindsE
Which casts all flesh as chaff to all the windsF
