Love And The Muse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCAA DDEE FFGG

STRUCK down by Love in cruel moodA
That I ever met Love I ruedA
Bleeding and bruised I layB
Wet was my face as with the salt sea sprayB
-
A lovely Muse on sparkling wingC
A painless elemental thingC
Free as bird did floatA
Swift flames of song light leaping from her throatA
-
And being more pitiful than LoveD
Stooped glowing from her path aboveD
And an unearthly kissE
Laid on my lips Muse answer what is thisE
-
In dreams or drunkenness divineF
My life is all transfused with thineF
Like bubbles swept alongG
My tears dissolve on cataracts of songG
