I Was Again Beside Thee In A Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABA CDCDC EDEDE FEFEF

I was again beside thee in a dreamA
Earth was so beautiful the moon was shiningB
The muffled voice of many a cataract streamA
Came like a love song as with arms entwiningB
Our hearts were mixed in unison supremeA
-
The wind lay spell bound in each pillared pineC
The tasselled larches had no sound or motionD
As my whole life was sinking into thineC
Sinking into a deep unfathomed oceanD
Of infinite love uncircumscribed divineC
-
Night held her breath it seemed with all her starsE
Eternal eyes that watched in mute compassionD
Our little lives o'erleap their mortal barsE
Fused in the fulness of immortal passionD
A passion as immortal as the starsE
-
There was no longer any thee or meF
No sense of self no wish or incompletenessE
The moment rounded to EternityF
Annihilated time's destructive fleetnessE
For all but love itself had ceased to beF
