Autumn Tints Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBB DEFEE GHIHH JKLMK

Coral coloured yew berriesA
Strew the garden waysB
Hollyhocks and sunflowersC
Make a dazzling blazeB
In these latter daysB
-
Marigolds by cottage doorsD
Flaunt their golden prideE
Crimson punctured bramble leavesF
Dapple far and wideE
The green mountain sideE
-
Far away on hilly slopesG
Where fleet rivulets runH
Miles on miles of tangled fernI
Burnished by the sunH
Glow a copper dunH
-
For the year that's on the waneJ
Gathering all its fireK
Flares up through the kindling worldL
As ere they expireM
Flames leap high and higherK
