A Parting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

The year is on the wing my loveA
With tearful days and nightsB
The clouds are on the wing aboveA
With gathering swallow flightsB
-
The year is on the wing my sweetC
And in the ghostly raceD
With patter of unnumbered feetC
The dead leaves fly apaceD
-
The year is on the wing and shakesE
The last rose from its treeF
And I whose heart in parting breaksE
Must bid adieu to theeF
