To Lady H---r, Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCD EEFF

Tell me my Patroness and FriendA
Can Age Parnassian Heights ascendA
Sweet Poesy's light Footsteps traceB
Ah no I must give up the ChaceB
When Time the Head hath silver'd o'erC
The dear Delusion charms no moreD
-
But why hast thou with Taste endow'dE
At Phoebus' Altar never bow'dE
Shall Books engross thee all the DayF
When lo he waits to grace thy LayF
