I Want Back What I Lost Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJFK LMMN OPQR

Things have gotten worse since I came hereA
I seldom go out for enjoymentB
My chronic pain is difficult to bearC
I ve been losing weight for a few monthsD
-
Illness has destroyed my romanceE
What can I do about the sad situationF
My hope of full recovery is fadingG
And I m too old to expect a good futureH
-
The feeling of love is still in my heartI
I reminisce about the pleasures of loveJ
Pretty women still catch my attentionF
But I m afraid I can no longer gratify themK
-
My life has gone terribly wrongL
Oh where did my youthful vigour goM
Sadly I ve recently lost my libidoM
And it seems that I can t get it backN
-
I ve never had the romance of my dreamO
But I honestly want back what I lostP
The worst part of it was better than what I now haveQ
I can t help thinking that it s over for meR
