Saturday Evening Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IAJJ KLMM

I remember our Saturday eveningA
We were walking together down the streetB
Suddenly you asked for my hand to holdC
And I felt like we were in another worldD
-
I wanted to hold it for the rest of the nightE
But you let go of mine after a whileF
I thought maybe something was wrong with meG
But the other day you told me you've never felt like thisH
-
Now I look at the sky when I can't sleepI
The flashbacks run through my head like stars fallingA
I could see your eyes stealing glances at mine every now and thenJ
Oh how I wish I could go back to that time all over againJ
-
And I can remember every small detailK
So I'm turning our memories into poetry every dayL
I really want to see myself holding your hands when we grow olderM
So I'm praying every day for our souls to stay together foreverM
