I remember our Saturday evening,
We were walking together down the street.
Suddenly, you asked for my hand to hold,
And I felt like we were in another world.
I wanted to hold it for the rest of the night,
But you let go of mine after a while.
I thought maybe something was wrong with me,
But the other day, you told me you've never felt like this.
Now I look at the sky when I can't sleep
The flashbacks run through my head like stars falling.
I could see your eyes stealing glances at mine every now and then.
Oh, how I wish I could go back to that time all over again.
And I can remember every small detail,
So I'm turning our memories into poetry every day.
I really want to see myself holding your hands when we grow older,
So I'm praying every day for our souls to stay together forever.
