Three-with The Moon And His Shadow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEFCGHI JKLDHMN

With a jar of wine I sit by the flowering treesA
I drink alone and where are my friendsB
Ah the moon above looks down on meC
I call and lift my cup to his brightnessD
And see there goes my shadow before meC
Ho We're a party of three I sayE
Though the poor moon can't drinkF
And my shadow but dances around meC
We're all friends to nightG
The drinker the moon and the shadowH
Let our revelry be meet for the spring timeI
-
I sing the wild moon wanders the skyJ
I dance my shadow goes tumbling aboutK
While we're awake let us join in carousalL
Only sweet drunkenness shall ever part usD
Let us pledge a friendship no mortals knowH
And often hail each other at eveningM
Far across the vast and vaporous spaceN
