On A Picture Screen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEFGHI JKLMNOPQRST UVCFWMXY

Whence these twelve peaks of Wu shanA
Have they flown into the gorgeous screenB
From heaven's one cornerC
Ah those lonely pines murmuring in the windD
Those palaces of Yang tai hovering yonderC
Oh the melancholy of itE
Where the jeweled couch of the kingF
With brocade covers is desolateG
His elfin maid voluptuously fairH
Still haunting them in vainI
-
Here a few feetJ
Seem a thousand milesK
The craggy walls glisten blue and redL
A piece of dazzling embroideryM
How green those distant trees areN
Round the river strait of Ching menO
And those ships they go onP
Floating on the waters of PaQ
The water sings over the rocksR
Between countless hillsS
Of shining mist and lustrous grassT
-
How many years since these valley flowers bloomedU
To smile in the sunV
And that man traveling on the riverC
Hears he not for ages the monkeys screamingF
Whoever looks on thisW
Loses himself in eternityM
And entering the sacred mountains of SungX
He will dream among the resplendent cloudsY
