Bringing In The Wine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJFKFLMNOFFP FQFORSFF

See how the Yellow River's water move out of heavenA
Entering the ocean never to returnB
See how lovely locks in bright mirrors in high chambersC
Though silken black at morning have changed by night to snowD
Oh let a man of spirit venture where he pleasesE
And never tip his golden cup empty toward the moonF
Since heaven gave the talent let it be employedG
Spin a thousand of pieces of silver all of them come backH
Cook a sheep kill a cow whet the appetiteI
And make me of three hundred bowls one long drinkJ
To the old master TsenF
And the young scholar Tan chiuK
Bring in the wineF
Let your cups never restL
Let me sing you a songM
Let your ears attendN
What are bell and drum rare dishes and treasureO
Let me br forever drunk and never come to reasonF
Sober men of olden days and sages are forgottenF
And only the great drinkers are famous for all timeP
Prince Chen paid at a banquet in the Palace of PerfectionF
Ten thousand coins for a cask of wine with many a laugh and quipQ
Why say my host that your money is goneF
Go and buy wine and we'll drink it togetherO
My flower dappled horseR
My furs worth a thousandS
Hand them to the boy to exchange for good wineF
And we'll drown away the woes of ten thousand generationF
