Before The Cask Of Wine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DECFGH IJDDK

The spring wind comes from the east and quickly passesA
Leaving faint ripples in the wine of the golden bowlB
The flowers fall flake after flake myriads togetherC
-
You pretty girl wine flushedD
Your rosy face is rosier stillE
How long may the peach and plum trees flowerC
By the green painted houseF
The fleeting light deceives manG
Brings soon the stumbling ageH
-
Rise and danceI
In the westering sunJ
While the urge of youthful years is yet unsubduedD
What avails to lament after one's hair has turned whiteD
like silken threadsK
