The Two Swans Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDDEFFGHHIJJJHH

There's a big park just close to where we liveA
Trees in a rowB
And shaggy grass whereon the dead leaves blowB
And in the middle round a great lagoonC
The fair yachts sailD
In loveliness that makes the water paleD
Last night I went to walk along the roadE
Beside the parkF
And feel the kisses of the wintry darkF
It's the best place to watch the evening comeG
For mists are thereH
And lights and shadows and the lake is fairH
And last night looking up I saw two swansI
Fly overheadJ
With long black necks and their white wings outspreadJ
Above the houses citywards they wentJ
An arrowy pairH
In secret white and black and dark and fairH
