Appearances Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACCADD

I hated them when I was four years oldA
The bright pink berries on the pepper treeB
And now they seem quite beautiful to meB
My tower of dreams when I was four years oldA
Was such a tree Its branches hid me wellC
Although I so disliked the berries' smellC
I had my dreams when I was four years oldA
But groundling now who once could mount in airD
I judge the high swung bright pink berries fairD
