Rhyme Scheme: AABC DEF GGGH IJK CLM CNOPQR

You see when new plants grow beneath old plantsA
The old plants tilt away from the part of the new plantsA
The old plant does not try to trample on the new plants nor try to compete with itB
Instead it contributes to its growth we rise by lifting othersC

The sun and the moon are both made to illuminate the earthD
But they both do so at different periodsE
The sun for the day and the moon for the nightF
-
The lion is often the strongest and leader of a prideG
But the lion does not use its position and ability to oppress other members of the prideG
Instead the lion uses its strength to defend and fight for the prideG
Leaders do not oppress they serve and make sacrificesH
-
It takes a colony of ants up to ten weeks to build a nestI
They do so by getting everyone involved without tiringJ
Unity patience and perseverance brings about positive resultsK

Crocodiles often stay in the calmest of watersC
The calm water surface entices prey to come and drink making them easy feeds for the crocodilesL
Be careful looks deceiveM
-
Even a dead tree can be used to make papersC
And even after being used to make fire at a camp will become charcoalN
Even the ashes from the charcoal serves as bleachO
Do not anyone look down on youP
Evey creature of nature has its purposeQ
Indeed there's a lot to learn from natureR

Poet's note: This poem tells us that there are quite a handful of positive things we can learn from nature. I was once listening to a nature expert and he was speaking about the roles each creature plays in the ecosystem. So I thought we imitate those roles and their importance in human dealings also,it'll will make the world a better place if we take positives if from nature
