The dog barked at the rat for eating leftoversA
But then it turned to the backyard to eat stoolsB
The pig yelled at the dog for eating stoolsB
But then it walked to the farmland to till the ground with its nose in search of foodC

The elephant screamed at the cock for crowing every morningD
But then the elephant trumpets whenever its excitedE
The hyena grunts at the elephant for trumpeting at the slightest of chanceF
But the hyena laughs loudly without hearing a jokeG
-
The peacock attacked the lion for parading itself as the strongest of all animalsH
But the peacock never cease to take the chance to showcase its beautiful feathers to other birds as a reminder of how no other bird matched its beautyI

The toad shames the honeybee for mating to deathJ
But the toad takes its spouse underwater for serious mating lasting daysK
-
The lion roar at the giraffe for being big and weakL
But then the lion lost his life in the hands of a pride of lionessK

Poet's note: I wrote this poem to address the issue of hypocrisy in our modern day world. It baffles me how people criticize you for something they are also guilty of. The thoughts came and I just had to put them in writing
