To The Hills! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG HIHI JKJK LDLD AMAM NONO PQPQ RSRS

'T is eight miles out and eight miles inA
Just at the break of mornB
'T is ice without and flame withinA
To gain a kiss at dawnC
-
Far where the Lilac Hills ariseD
Soft from the misty plainE
A lone enchanted hollow liesD
Where I at last drew reinE
-
Midwinter grips this lonely landF
This stony treeless wasteG
Where East due East across the sandF
We fly in fevered hasteG
-
Pull up the East will soon be redH
The wild duck westward flyI
And make above my anxious headH
Triangles in the skyI
-
Like wind we go we both are stillJ
So young all thanks to FateK
It cuts like knives this air so chillJ
Dear God if I am lateK
-
Behind us wrapped in mist and sleepL
The Ruined City liesD
Although we race we seem to creepL
While lighter grow the skiesD
-
Eight miles out only eight miles inA
Good going all the wayM
But more and more the clouds beginA
To redden into dayM
-
And every snow tipped peak grows pinkN
An iridescent gemO
My heart beats quick with joy to thinkN
How I am nearing themO
-
As mile on mile behind us fallsP
Till Oh delight I seeQ
My Heart's Desire who softly callsP
Across the gloom to meQ
-
The utter joy of that First LoveR
No later love has givenS
When while the skies grew light aboveR
We entered into HeavenS
