From Behind The Lattice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB ACAAC ADAAD

I see your red gold hair and knowA
How white the hidden skin must beB
Though sun kissed face and fingers showA
The fervour of the noon day glowA
The keenness of the seaB
-
My longing fancies ebb and flowA
Still circling constant unto thisC
My great desire ah whisper lowA
To plant on thy forbidden snowA
The rosebud of a kissC
-
The scarlet flower would spread and growA
Your whiteness change and flushD
Be still my reckless heart beat slowA
'T is but a dream that stirs thee soA
To one transparent blushD
