A cipher stirs in the hollow of my skull
A morras of desire only you can stir
I'm drawn to your dark fire like a moth consumed by a flame
A passion that devours and leaves me a hollow, gnawing desire.
Your eyes, like two black holes suck all the light from me
Leaving me a vacant echoing space where only shadows be
Your touch sets the tinder of my soul aflame
Melting my heart and unleashing a maelstrom of pain.
In your presence, I'm a fracturing mirror shattered by the force,
Of my own longing, reflected back, a grotesque and beautiful course,
You're the razor that slices through my defences, and lays me bare
Exposing the raw, pulsing wound that only you, my love, can repair.
The Razor's Edge.
