Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFFGGHH| You keep telling me that my heart is still beating | A |
| Yet I m sick to the point I wonder what s worth treating | A |
| My heart is broken and the pieces have gone | B |
| And life is starting to seem like a battle that can t be won | C |
| I m empty inside but you ll never see | D |
| You ll never know how dark my mind can be | D |
| You ll never understand the clues I give to tease | E |
| Or even imagine the amount of damage I can do with such ease | E |
| I can tear you from the inside and make you shout | F |
| So I advise you to lock your door and pray you can make it out | F |
| For it isn t very smart to fight an empty heart | G |
| You may get control but they never lost it for they ve had it from the start | G |
| So run if you can Hide if you must | H |
| Because at the end of the day who can you trust | H |
