Elephant RacingA
Let's go elephant racing this yearB
Hatrub and Harumba have grown for centuries with usC
They do not dig caves for salt and lime but blow to arouse the village's numb torsoD
Let's go elephant racing this year across the deserts of the NigerE
Let's saddle them our many loads of casks flasks food bags and basketsF
-
Let's ride on elephants todayG
Maybe it will make us think slowerE
And dare us to make room for whatH
Was nought of our plansI
Ahmoudu do not forget to carryJ
Nose masksK
Remember we are to race in the desertL
And the little little fonderay cause us toM
Cough for such a time as make us reasonN
To abandon our adventureE
-
Run Run RunN
Elephant racing AhmouduM
Calms the nerveO
And makes the heartM
Grow fonderE
