Is not humpbacked with bearing in scored stone | D |
But perfectly erect in my front yard | E |
Oblivious of its fame The fruit is hard | E |
Multitudinous acid tight on the stem | F |
The leaves ride boat like in the brimming sun | G |
Going nowhere and scooping up the light | H |
It is the silver tree the holy tree | B |
Tree of all attributes | I |

The olives fall by thousands and I delight | H |
To shed my tennis shoes and walk on them | F |
Pressing them coldly into the deep grass | K |
In love and reverence for the total loss | L |
