Is it a trap | B |
Of some higher force in power | C |
Pr is it meant to be so | D |
For the path it goes to and fro | D |

Sometimes seems straight | E |
Sometimes goes round | F |
What's its destination | G |
Keeps your mind entangled | H |
With a question profound | F |

It seems so clear | A |
Is it my eyes | I |
Or is it so that | J |
The nails laid there are colorless | K |
And what they cause is only pain | L |

Running parallel there goes another | C |
Which seems to be laid with pins | M |
But its destination is clear | A |
Despite the stormy winds | N |
Blocking vision | G |
- | |
It goes straight | E |
No matter what | O |
But the other one | G |
It seems to get our eyes shut | O |
Despite the clear weather | C |
- | |
My concise says to take the clear one | G |
For it appears safe | P |
Even though its destination remains unclear | A |
For the other one seems to cause pain | L |
Which makes me question myself | Q |
Would it be worth it if I get no mortal gain | L |
