| Though the world wants her to be someone else | B |
| When she looks in her mirror she is discouraged | C |
| The sight that beholds her is not what the world wants her to be hold | D |
| Her features are far different from what is deemed beautiful | E |
| But she is who she is and she cannot change that | F |

| Your looks don't depict who you are her seniors affirm her | G |
| but the same always look in awe at the magazine cover photos with the gorgeous faces | H |
| They all heap sums of praises at the beauty that lies before them | I |
| Yet they have the guts to tell her that she is ok the way she is | A |
| Angry thoughts sorround her every time her image looks back at her from the mirror | G |
| She is just an average looking girl | J |
| But she is who she is and she cannot change that | F |

| She does not know that she has been blessed in many other ways | K |
| She does not know that there are lots who would wish to be like her | G |
| She does not know that there lots who admire her and would do anything to fit in her shoes | L |

| She does not know that she is far more precious to those who cherish her | G |
| Yes she is who she is and she cannot change that BUT she is just how she is supposed to be nothing more nothing less | N |

Poet's note: I wrote this poem for all the young girls out there who think they aint beautiful enough. And I wanted to show them that there is much more to life than mere looks and that they are beautiful just the way they are.
