To What Shore Would You Cross Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG H IJ KLMNOPBHQ

To what shore would you crossA
O my heartB
there is no traveller before youC
there is no roadD
Where is the movementE
where is the restF
on that shoreG
-
There is no water no boat no boatman is thereH
-
There is not so much as a rope to tow the boat nor a man to draw itI
No earth no sky no time no thing is there no shore no fordJ
-
There there is neither body nor mindK
and where is the place that shall still the thirst of the soulL
You shall find naught in that emptinessM
Be strong and enter into your own bodyN
for there your foothold is firmO
Consider it wellP
O my heartB
go not elsewhereH
Kab r says 'Put all imaginations awayQ
and stand fast in that which you are '-
