I Burst Into Laughter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABA CDEFG HIJIIKJ JLDC MNON

I burst into laughterA
whenever I hearB
that the fish is thirsty in waterA
-
Without the knowledge of SelfC
people just wander to Mathura or to KashiD
like the musk deer unawareE
of the scent in his navelF
goes on running forest to forestG
-
In water is the lotus plantH
and the plant bears flowersI
and on the flowers are the bees buzzingJ
Likewise all yogis and mendicantsI
and all those who have renounced comfortsI
are on here and hereafter and the nether worldK
contemplatingJ
-
Friend the Supreme Indestructible BeingJ
on whom thousands of sages meditateL
and even Brahma Vishnu and MaheshD
really resides within one's selfC
-
Though He is near He appears far awayM
and that is what makes one disturbedN
says Kabir listen O wise oneO
by Guru alone is the confusion curbedN
