Have You? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB C D EFEF GHG IJKLHMN O

Have you seen the snail slow and stupidA
Who cowers behind his shell from fears that change so rapidA
He carries his house around like a traveling fellowB
A slave of fears doubts and anxiety his face paled yellowB
-
This was all because of his self confidence or the lack thereofC
-
ButD
-
Have you seen the lion too always brimming with prideE
That one day he demanded the throne he was yet to earnF
He said I am mighty I am strong and I am yet to be defiedE
I am might in it s prime majesty incarcerate my strength unwornF
-
I demand my kingship for I am supremeG
Yes I am sure I am a being worthy of supremacyH
To have you cower beneath me and and let your praises for me flow like a streamG
-
Then came the answerI
So short and simpleJ
Yet piercing and trueK
How can a beastL
Lost in his own vanityH
To care about a whole kingdomM
When his only care is so foulN
-
This is was all because of his self confidence or the overflowing quantity of itO
