Brighter burn her eyes and brighterA
Burns the scarlet on her cheeksE

Leaps her heart within her cheerlyF
Smiles the earth in silence girtG
Dance the stars above and rarelyF
All in concord with her heartH

Redder than the red rose blowingI
Sinks she in her woer's armsJ
Many a mad mad vow avowingI
Melt they in each other's charmsJ

For a season vanished reasonK
Vanished to return and viewL
Loved and lover doomed for everA
