WHEN Day once stirs, her locks of gold,
Up, seize, ere she is well awaken!
And with her steps thy paces hold,
Till she from Earth her leave hath taken.
What tho' upon the way she frown,
Her goal attained, unto thee turning,
With such a gift thy toil she'll crown,
Thou'lht thank her with a smile next morning!
