The Fly lurks around putrid matterA
and delights in savouring human wasteB
The dis tasteful things we love to hateC
satisfy his insatiable tasteB
for foul smelling things that are betterA
cast in the bin from our very sightD
He does not savour anything rightD
he comes to dine without our requestE
for he is the most unpleasant guestE
to find at the table when we feastF
