Corsican Born and an Emperor mighty indeedA
Who from obscurity came up to prominenceB
who from French shores the attacks of armies repelledC
Who had at his disposal Europe's resourcesD
Who to Saint Helena from French shores was expelledC
Of old Italian nobility he is seedA
Shortish in height yet towering in ambitionE
Military genius of the highest distinctionE
whose military strategy is second to none saveF
Alexander Whose courage is held in reverenceB
-
Whose Cradle at infancy was kept in a CaveF
from strong invading imperialist French forcesD
-
He gave up an Empire so vast at WaterlooG
a threat to the memories of his victories pastH
Mighty Napoleon who at Austerlitz excelledC
you did on the beautiful older Josephine castH
your loving eyes which were hypnotized with passionE
yet focused still on so lofty an ambitionE
Not even your love for her would rival your loveI
for World conquest for which you assiduously stroveJ
