A Psalm Of Patience Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

O kid with face of healthy tanA
With lunch bag books and slateB
You needn't long to be a manA
Self confident and greatB
For ever since the world beganA
Each boy must spring to Nature's planA
Must worry through as best he canA
Make up your mind to WaitB
-
O young galoot you find it roughC
This iron hand of FateB
Your confidence is mostly bluffC
And doubts preponderateB
Are you the genuine all wool stuffC
Are you a daisy or a muffC
Patience you'll find out soon enoughC
If you can only WaitB
-
O baffled bloke with no resourceD
Whose knowledge comes too lateB
Whose prospects change from bad to worseE
Till Hope gives place to HateB
Sick of existence and perforceD
Impatient for the long divorceD
You'll get your call in proper courseD
Take my advice and WaitB
-
O geezer drawing near the testB
That none may obviateB
Don't waste your time in fruitless questB
Re man's post mortem stateB
That doubt will soon be set at restB
You'll be extinguish'd grill'd or blestB
Or spook the world from east to westB
Meanwhile you have to WaitB
